Exhibition History:
Permanent Erté (actually, Romain de Tirtoff) collections in important museums worldwide, include the Smithsonian in Washington, New York's Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum, and in London the Victoria & Albert Museum, to name just a few.

Condition:
Both prints are in excellent original condition with strong, vivid colouring.

Description / Expertise
Two coloured lithograph prints on d’Arches paper, namely Erté’s CLUB or “As de Treffle” and his HEART or “As de Coeur”, respectively (see illustrated details below). The CLUB is handsigned and described as “epreuve d’artiste” by Erté. The ace of HEARTS is handsigned and limited by the artist as No. 84/90. Both prints are excellent examples of the artist’s original ART DECO designs. Both are rare. The price of each print is GBP 750.
