Set of Six Mahogany Dining Chairs ca 1920
This beautiful set of six antique mahogany dining chairs have tall, shaped backs with splayed back splats and beautiful central floral carved motifs. Each chair has splayed back legs, beautiful cabriole front legs with ball and claw feet, H stretchers for added stability and gadrooned seat edges. The chairs are upholstered in green velvet, are a rich medium/dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
