Description / Expertise
A fine late 18th century Chippendale mahogany two door cabinet.
The cabinet has a pair of doors with flamed mahogany panels surrounded by a beaded frame and carved rosettes in the corners and to the sides gilded brass carrying handles.
The two doors open to three drawers that are mahogany lined with a single ring handle and have removable dividing boards.
The cabinet is in exceptional original condition and has had the polish sympathetically restored. (Circa 1780)
