Some old restoration and with added top within the basin stand.

A good quality mid 18th century mahogany basin stand with leaf-carved, cabriole-leg tripod base and ball and claw feet. The circular basin stand at the top has been later in-filled making a practical table-top and is raised above a serpentine shaped centre section having two small drawers and retaining the original powder cup and cover. The whole is supported on elegant, turned and fluted uprights.
