A fine George II carved Mahogany Kneehole Dressing/Writing Desk, circa 1760.
The top with a baize lined slide above an arrangement of compartments and a mirror slide on a ratchet, with a pen drawer to the right, over six drawers and a recessed cupboard door enclosing a shelf, and raised on six carved ogee bracket feet.
An important early desk of outstanding quality, and of the most superb colour and patination.
