Provenance This bedroom is of the First Empire period and has been in the same family since the 1920s. It is understood to have purchased from the Sale of the Empress Eugenie's Estate at Farnborough Hill. The auction of the contents of Farnborough Hill was arranged by Hamptons in July 1927.
