Description / Expertise

A superb quality English north country oak dresser,George III circa 1810, cross banded in mahogany., having a dentil frieze with shaped apron over four open shelves with scalloped fronts, flanked by a pair of open small shelves and narrow tall cupboards with spice drawers under; and above a cross banded base section with three large drawers either side of a central two door cupboard with oval moulded panels and dummy short drawers. Inlaid oval paterae to the doors. The whole raised on five shaped bracket feet. Exceptional colour and patina.
