Description / ExpertiseThe netsuke is carved as a fat Daikon radish with its leaves attached and two smaller radishes towards its base. Set into the face is a finely carved gold plaque of two rats dressed as porters running with Daikoku's treasure sack on a pole, the treasures in shakudo.
