‘Presented to THE REVEREND THOMAS LEWIS, OF UNION CHAPEL,
ISLINGTON, By a numerous and attached People, to mark their
grateful sense of his long and useful services, and to record the
exemplary piety, affection, zeal and judgement, which for more than
THIRTY YEARS, have characterized both his private and public life as
a faithful Minister of Jesus Christ. AUGUST 1836’
