Late 19th Century Alabaster sculpture of a seated young girl, signed ERNEST BARRIAS
(PARIS 1841-1905). Studied at the Beaux Arts, prize winner of the Prix de Rome 1861 & 1865. His subjects were historical, allegorical and contemporary. Member of Academy & Legion of Honour for sculpture.
