Made of silver, this pair of Brighton Bun candlesticks are European in manufacture. They are stamped to the dishes, where the candle sconces screw in, with the maker’s mark of ‘H&Co.’ and 800. This figure indicates that the silver is 80% pure and perhaps points to the maker being German. The Buns are of a good size and have a fine moulded edge to the dishes and ring decoration to the finials.
