This quality antique Georgian flamed mahogany bureau/writing desk ca. 1790 has a moulded fall front and the interior has a faux leather writing insert, several small drawers and pigeonholes/letter racks. The lower section of the antique bureau has four graduating cock beaded drawers with replacement oval brass handles. The antique bureau stands on splayed shaped bracket feet and has the original backboards. It is a rich, warm light golden mahogany colour with a Striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
