Antique Oak Bureau Bookcase – Edwardian Glazed
This beautiful antique Edwardian glazed oak bureau bookcase ca 1910 has a moulded cornice above two astragal glazed doors with key and working lock and the interior has three adjustable shelves. The lower section has a moulded fall front and the interior has its original green leather writing insert, two small drawers and several pigeon holes. The bureau has four graduating oak lined cock beaded drawers with original brass handles and the piece stands on splayed bracket feet, splits into two sections for ease of removals, is a medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
