Antique Regency Mahogany Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers.
This delightful antique bow fronted chest of drawers dating from the Regency period, circa 1830, displays beautiful ornate brass handles. It has a bow fronted top above three cock beaded graduating drawers with oval handles. It also benefits from a decorative shaped plinth and bracket feet. There are signs of restoration to the expert eye but overall has the character and authenticity of a piece of the Regency period. It is a medium red mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
