Reference no. 52817

Dimensions

57.50inch high    (  146.05 cm high)

Description / Expertise

Ref: 21661
A good quality W. Cook Billiard Cue by Burroughes and Watts, made of ash with hand spliced handle and manufactures' ivory trade label.
William Cook was born in 1839 at Sandy in Bedfordshire. Like most exceptional players he started to play very early in life at only 11 years old. Cook was one of the best players ever to hold a cue. The most unusual fact about his career may well be that he was taught by a woman, Miss Chapman. He became a Champion by the age of 20.
