A carved oak comemorative plate dedicated on the back: " TO, COL. OSWALD D.S.O., on the, FIRST ANNIVERSARY, in MAY 1947, The Oswald House, in, Marienheide, Germ." The front of the plate depicting Oswald House with Red Deer to the front. Around the edge are carved a Tennis Racket, a Fishing Rod, a pair of Guns and Target, a pair of Skie's and a Yacht. Also carved is "MARIENHEIDE GERMANY, OPEN MAY 1946. A nice sporting collectable of very good quality.
