A rare early 18th century octagonal bronze horizonal plate sundial signed Edmund Culpeper Londini fecit with a wonderful open fret gnoman The dial is engraved the Coat of arms of the Earl of Inchiquin and is set at 52'8 latitude for the County of Galway in Ireland and carries the motto Strengh is from above.
