ConditionThe box is in mint condition.
Description / ExpertiseThis is a large and fancy cylindrical English silver Box. The box has a large lid, which slots onto the box. The lid is decorated with raised scene in superb detailing of a Lady or possibly a fairy in a chariot being pulled by three horses. The horses are in full gallop and the woman’s hair is flowing behind her. The rest of the lid is decorated with raised flowers, leaves and scrolls. On opposing sides there are two cartouches. One of which is lightly engraved with a Dragon and the initials G.M.C.R. The interior of the box has a rich gold colour. The sides of the box have a smooth plain finish.
