Description / Expertise
Genre painter, born in South Kensington on 2nd September 1859. He studied art at South Kensington and the Royal Academy Schools where he received a silver medal for his drawing.
He exhibited at the leading London Galleries from 1878, chiefly at the R.A., R.P., R.B.A., and also in the provinces.
Principal works include “ Sussex Cottages”, “June Roses”, “A Reverie” and “Follow Me.”
He lived near Petersfield in Hampshire.
