Unusual mid 18th century tea chest in mahogany inlaid with exotic woods. Interior retains divisions but no tea containers.
Also in stock a rare early period 'pontypool' bombe shaped tea chest dating from 1760-70, a burr yew-wood tea chest dating from about 1820-30 having two containers with hinged lids and a moulded glass bowl.
We have several more interesting caddies in stock including several mid 18th century examples, one with its original tin containers inside and a brass mounted example.
