PORTRAIT OF ANNE MARIE D'ORLEANS (1669 - 1728) DUCHESS OF SAVOY.

She was the daughter of Philippe Duc d'Orleans (Louis XIV's brother) and Henrietta of England (sister of King Charles II).
The Jacobite claim to the British throne passed through her descendants after the death of Charles Edward Stuart and Henry Benedict, King James II's grandsons.
