Description / Expertise

A fine late 18th Century serpentine mahogany commode. The shaped top cross banded in tulipwood and with a central inlaid oval mahogany panel with ebonised and box line stringing. The serpentine shaped front with inlaid canted corners and four graduated drawers. The whole raised on shaped bracket feet. A fine piece of small proportions in superb original condition and of a lovely mellow golden colour. George III circa 1780.
