A late Georgian finely cut glass large Preserve and Cover, the square terraced foot cut beneath with strawberry diamonds, having a short stem with faceted knop supporting the bowl with everted rim all cut with broad bands of strawberry diamonds and horizontal prisms, the double domed cover cut with bands of alternating diamond and strawberry diamond filled lozenges, with an eliptic knop stem to a mushroom finial also cut with strawberry diamonds. H: 13in. Dia: 7in. English circa 1820.
