This frosted glass version of Laliques sought after small rectangular desk or dressing table clock features some six mermaids floating around the clock dial with hair, covered in bubbles, streaming behind them. A similar scene is painted, on a blue green back-ground, to the dial centre.

The matt-gilt chapter ring has arabic numerals and is signed “8 day Swiss Made.” Outside this is a decorative gilded bezel.
