Description / Expertise
A fine pair of composition and wood George 111 Adam period torcheres with later gilding, the upper part with a gadrooned bowl with guilloche, acanthus leaf and vitruvian scroll decoration, the bottom with a carved pineapple, all raised on three rams heads with curved moulded column legs joined by a circle of vitruvian scrolls and a lower circle of guilloche decoration, the legs ending in paw feet and raised on a concave moulded platform centred by a pineapple decoration.
