These framed beautifully handwritten rules on paper are for the game of Life Pool. The game could be played by upto 12, who formed the pool. Each player had his own coloured ball and lost a life each time it was potted by an opponent. When he lost 3 lives he could elect to buy another ‘star’ life. This could be done upto 3 times before he finally had to leave the game. The calligraphy is to a high and exact standard. Each of the 30 rules begins with an illuminated first word to emphasize its start
