Thomas Weeks (d.1834) established a ' Royal Mechanical Museum' or emporium in Tichborne Street, London, during the early 19th Century.

Very fine condition and patina, replacement dog chain.

A Regency period ormolu, bronze and white marble ink stand by Weeks, with a ewer on a tree-trunk flanked by a dog and an inkwell.
