Six Regency Mahogany Double Sabre Leg Antique Dining Chairs.
This is a set of six Regency mahogany antique dining chairs of outstanding quality with double sabre legs, circa 1830. Being made from the finest Cuban mahogany they are extremely strong and stable. They have elegantly scrolled carved backs and have been recently reupholstered in a beautiful fabric in a traditional design. They stand on unusual double sabre legs, a rare find indeed, and are a rich dark mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
