This striking small Georgian Mahogany architects antique chest of drawers ca. 1790 has a rectangular moulded top above 2 over 3 cockbeaded graduating drawers with replacement brass handles. Each of the drawers is lined with old architects drawings of South Tyne or Warden Bridge, Corby Viaduct and Scots wood Bridge. This beautiful antique chest of drawers stands on shaped bracket feet, has the original back boards and is a rich warm medium / dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
