The hallmarks for Birmingham 1901 are clear, and there are maker’s marks for ALLtd- Adie & Lovekin.

1.75cm wide    2.00cm high    0.50cm deep (0.69 inches wide  0.79 inches high  0.20 inches deep)

It is in 95% mint condition- there are some light scratch marks and a few millimeters gap where the lid no longer fully closes.

This is an English silver decorative heart-shaped box. The sides of the box are smooth and plain, however the lid is decorated with raised chasing, and the edges are pinched. The lid hinges and the inside has a beautiful, gilt finish.
