Small Regency Mahogany Antique Bureau.
This small Regency mahogany antique bureau, circa 1810, has a moulded fall front with key and working lock. The interior has a central cupboard, four small oak lined drawers and four pigeon holes. The lower section of the antique bureau has four graduating oak lined cock beaded drawers with replacement handles. The piece stands on shaped bracket feet and overall has unusually small proportions for a bureau which not only makes it rather unique but also adds to its character. It is a warm, medium mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
