In the manner of Thomas Hope
Unusual chair of splendid quality and design elements of which were popular with the cabinet maker Thomas Hope.
Well carved from the leaf pattern turned back rail to the square based seat raised on turned, reeded and tapering front legs and remarkable large swept, fluted and scrolled back legs. Original brass castors. George IV circa 1825.
