The box is in mint condition.

This is a small and fancy English silver Box in the shape of a horse shoe. The box has a hinged lid, which is decorated with raised flowers, leaves and scrolls. In the middle is a raised cartouche with initials MC. The rim of the lid is decorated with fluted work. The sides of the box are decorated with the same form of decoration as the lid, with flowers and leaves but with more definition and work. The rim of the base is decorated with fluted detailing.
