Oscar Wilson (1867 – 1930), framed tennis water colour “The young tennis player”. The main image is of a young lady in a blue dress resting on her tennis racket. She is standing behind some balustrading with a country house coming into view in the back ground. It is signed in the left hand corner ‘Oscar Wilson’.
This is a beautifully painted image.
Wilson was an English painter and illustrator who studied in South Kensington in 1886 and Antwerp in 1891.
