Description / Expertise
A rare Victorian combination item of tubular form with repousse foliate scroll decoration, one end with hinged lid with crown finial for sealing wax, the other with hinged lid formed as a seal containing wax tapersticks, one of which can be inserted in the upright tube for a go-to-bed.
