Description / Expertise

Early Victorian mahogany four tier what not with a mahogany gallery around three sides of each tier.

The whatnot has a single drawer in the base, with a mahogany knob handle and stands on four turned legs with gilded brass castors. The top tier has four turned wood finials, which give it a very elegant finish. The mahogany is in good condition and has been sympathetically polished to give it an established surface patina.

This what not is designed to be freestanding if necessary and is easy to move around on its four stable castors. *The display items in the photographs are not included* (Circa 1850)
