Description / Expertise
A desk inkwell in the form of the legendary cricketer, W. G. Grace, the oversized cricket ball opening to reveal an open glass liner for the ink and the pen rests are fashioned as crossed bails. This piece was later presented and is engraved around the plinth "R.B.C.C. Best Performance A. Team. Stan Thomas 1911-1912". Made in electro-plated nickel silver by William Wheatcroft Harrison & Co., the design registered 2nd February 1880.
