Description / Expertise
This table is an early example; having a ‘gun-barrel’ column supported on four splayed and reeded legs which terminate in original brass box castors.
The top, which again as an early table, does not have a frieze and is the most wonderful golden colour and a very good size.
The photograph does not do justice to the proportions of this table which are superb. The spread of the legs is just the correct amount less than the diameter of the top giving the look of the table a boldness and grandeur sadly lacking from most other tables.
