Description / Expertise
In 1817, William Perry, who had been in partnership with William Parker, established himself at 72 New Bond Street as "Glass Manufacturer to the Prince Regent". In 1822 he was joined in partnership by his nephew, George and in 1833, with arrival of another family member the firm was renamed Perry & Co.
Perry & Co. were one of the leading glass manufacturers of the 19th Century and were responsible for various magnificent commissions. Some of their more famous chandeliers include those made for the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths along with chandeliers made for the Duke of Devonshire at Chatsworth and for Buscot Park.
