Description / Expertise
Late 19thC carved ivory chess set and draught/back gammon set with dice shakers to match shakers. The set comes with a paper mache and laquered games board that folds in half and can store the pieces inside. The carved chess pieces are of chinese figures and some of the pawns have lost their finely carved spears. The lacquered board is decorated with chinese scenes and figures.
