A superb Regency Period Mahogany Patent Extending Dining Table by Wilkinson, the "D" shaped fold over top with a concertina action on ring turned legs with brass cups and casters, the frieze with applied roundels and four intermedary leaves, the concertina frame stamped four times "Wilkinson Patent Moorfield" circa 1810. When fully closed, this ingenious mechanism allows the top to fold over as you expect to see with tea or card tables of this period and the legs concertina with the action completely under the folded tops. The concertina action is also fitted with Wilkinsons patented brass hinges.
