A fine, rare and exceptionally small early 19th century Mahogany cased Regulator Longcase clock, the hood with an arched pediment and canted corners, the trunk with a moulded glazed door flanked by canted corners, the crossbanded base raised on a moulded plinth. The 8-day, 4-pillar movement signed “Christmas – London”, the pendulum with off-set adjustable pinhole, wooden shaft, large bob and engraved rating nut with calibrated shaft, the going train with maintaining power, the silvered circular dial with subsidiary seconds dial, original hands and engraved “Regulator” with an arrow to show the wind direction..
