Cecil Aldin was a sporting and topographical painter and illustrator, born in Slough.
He studied at South Kensington under Frank Calderon and was elected RBA in 1898.
The reference books have him living in London, 1897 and Henley-on-Thames, Oxon in 1905. It is also noted that he died in Reading.
