His life and his adventures have fascinated people ever since as evidenced by the latest film just recently released. These large coins each weigh over 17 grams in ancient silver and were struck under his authority, showing the bust of Alexander as Herakles wearing the skin of the Nemean lion on obverse, reverse showing the Greek principal god, Zeus seated on a throne, with the name of Alexander behind in Greek.
