Description / Expertise
A very good George III figured mahogany kneehole desk of excellent colour & patina. The rectangular top with applied edge moulding over a long oak lined & cock beaded frieze drawer with brass swan neck handles. Below a shaped apron drawer with cupboard compartment below, bordered either side by three further drawers. The desk stands on shaped bracket feet. With superb figuring, excellent colour and patina, the kneehole stands particularly well. An elegant practical piece.
