Description / Expertise
A very good English Regency flame mahogany pedestal side table of compact dimensions. The rounded rectangular top with reeded edge over a flame mahogany frieze which is finished all around allowing the table to be placed in a central positions, with neatly curved corners and a central cock beaded frieze drawer with ebony shield escutcheon. The table stands on a central vase and ring turned column with quad-partite down swept moulded legs terminating in elegant paw caps and castors. The table retains an excellent rich colour and good patina.
