Description / Expertise
A fine English George III plumb pudding mahogany & rosewood banded oval breakfast table with superb figuring, excellent original colour & patina. The oval top of superbly figured timbers, cross banded with rosewood, strung with box and with rounded moulded circumference, supported by a tapering bun barrel column with turned rings. The column is attached to four down-swept legs terminating in brass caps and castors. The table is a good size easily sitting four people, more cosily sitting six; it could also be used as a very good looking oval centre table. Superb quality, timbers and colour throughout.
