Description / Expertise
A very good regency flame mahogany sofa table of excellent original figuring and colour. The rounded rectangular top laid in book-matched flame veneers. The frieze with three inset flame mahogany panels and two opening cock beaded asymmetric drawers fitted with brass knob handles with opposing dummy drawers and bordered by scallop shaped flap supports. The table is supported by tapering rectangular section end supports, joined by a turned mid-height stretcher over swept and kneed legs terminating brass paw capped castors. A lovely little table of only 25” deep with excellent original colour & patina.
