Description / Expertise
An intricately detailed chip-carved oak and fruitwood box, with geometric carving to the back, top and front, and "Jurgen.J.Klyn 1825" carved on the lid. Charming carved symbolic details to the ends, including doves, entwined hearts, vases of flowers and suns and stars, indicate that the box was made as a love token.
