Description / Expertise
As Irish dealers we confess to being unsure of this bridge table but belive it to be in the manner of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The construction is correct for the period & under the bottom is a bakelight label with ' Reg No. 475689 stamped upon it. Its previous owners having Glasgow connections. We DO know however that it is very well made in mahogany with maple inset counter dishes in each corner together with a shelf beneath each side. The green baise is new replacement. Advice from the 'trade' about this table is welcome
